We are thrilled to introduce our new U14 Jr. Warriors Head Coach for 2024, Josh Alexander!

Coach Alexander brings a wealth of experience to our program, having served as the head coach of Laurel Heights HS since 2011. Under his leadership, the team clinched WCSSAA titles in 2011 and 2012, with the current squad making it to the CWOSSA final.​​​​​​​

With over 25 years of coaching experience, Coach Alexander has made a big impact with many top programs. He served as the LB Coach/Specials Coordinator at Mary G, Montgomery HS in Alabama and as the OL /Tight end coach at Mississippi College. His expertise extends to the U Sports level, where he served as the O-line coach and Specials Coordinator at Laurier University from 2007-2010.

Returning to where it all began, Coach Alexander is ready to lead our U14 Jr Warriors "I'm excited to return to the sidelines of Waterloo Region Minor Football where I began my coaching career back in 1996. I can't wait to get started working with the players and coaching staff on building a championship-quality team from top to bottom.

Waterloo region is blessed with so many great football players and I'm honoured to be given the opportunity to help bring home an OSFL title for the U14 Jr. Warriors!"
